[Answer]Hard- or Software problem ?

Question:

Hi.
I have a HP IQ820sc PC. with Ultimate, 802.11n Wireless LAN Card, D.Link DIR-655 Wireless router.
The same thing happens every day, after about 1 hour's connection to the Internet, i am disconnected and
have to restart, the connection then works fine the rest of the day.
Is it a hard- or software problem.

Answer 2:erikdahl,
Thank you for using the Answers Forums.  If you can give us a little more information about your setup we will be better able to aassist you.  What brand and model is your wireless LAN card?  What type of Internet connection do you have - DSL, cable, etc.?  When you lose your connection, has your computer gone into sleep mode and then come back awake?  Instead of restarting, try disabling the wireless LAN adapter and then enabling it.  Let us know these things and we will provide further assistance.

Thank you,

Answer 3:

Hi Gloria
Thank you for answering. My wireless LAN Card is from Ralink Technology, driver ver 2.1.1.0. I have a 12/2 mb. DSL connection. The PC disconnect while i am using it. Yesterday morning it happened after 75 min. I was then out of house for 10 hours. After start it disconected again after 75 min. I tried to disable, and enable the card, it worked for a few minutes, then it disconnected again, and i had to restart the PC.
