Question:how do i install movies to my laptop
Answer 1:how do i install movies to my laptop
Answer 2: Hi Mark-
By installing do you mean downloading from the Internet, or copying from a DVD? Or do you just want to play them on your laptop?
To play movies on your laptop, you can use Windows Media Player.
You can also copy the contents of a DVD to your laptop. However, many movies are protected in ways that disables the ability to copy them.
I am moving your question to the media forum, where one of our support engineers can help you further. If you can let us know exactly what you are trying to do, that would be great.

Answer 3: As Barb stated is correct, you can not copy or "install" movies on your computer natively, especially if they are copy protected. There are 3rd party tools that can accomplish disk backup and such, however these are not products we support, and you do have to make sure you are abiding with any copy right laws / agreements for that particular work / production.
If what you mean by installing is playing them, then they will simply load up in your Windows Media Player or any video player of your choice given you have the proper codecs installed and set up properly.
Hope this answers your question, let us know if you have more detail on your situation.
