[Answer]My local TV transmitter has switched off Analog, and I've lost some Digital channels

Question:Beacon Hill , Devon, UK switched off analogue channels in April.
Since then I'm unable to watch some digital channels, (ITV1 and channel 4 in particular).
If I Delete all services, and then scan for services, I am able to watch these channels, but there is no Guide data for any channel.
When I then update the Guide listings, I lose these channels.
Guide Information tells me that the Guide data has an End Date of 6/4/2009.

How do I get someone to update the information for this TV Transmitter in the EPG?

Hi stephentq1,

Thanks for using the Answers Forum.

I suggest typing in a location in Media Center Guide close to you that might have the updated information.

I think Stockland Hill is in your area.

Please let us know if this helps.

Answer 3:Hi Chris,

I am unable to move my antenae, which is pointed to Beacon Hill. Beacon Hill is visible about 4 or 5 miles away.

The EPG end date has been updated to 6/15/2009, but I still cannot watch ITV, C4 etc, (All at 730MHZ apparently)

Now, when I "delete all" and then "Scan for services", I lose the Guide listings, AND I still can't get ITV1, C4, ITV2, etc!!!

I'm updating the EPG on a slow dial-up line, if that's relevant.

Could there be some other problem? (I am able to watch these channels on a set top box, fed from the same antennae, which shows high
signal strength).
