Question：I know the Netflix tile is supposed to show up in the "TV + Movies" section, but I have three Vista computers at home and none of them are showing it. We will need some additional information about your configuration and equipment before offering suggestions.

1.       Are you using a 3^rd party piece of hardware from Netflix that acts as an extender?

2.       Have you subscribed to the Netflix service as a paying customer?

 

If you have questions regarding the Netflix service and how it operates you may need to contact Netflix directly. The plug-in for viewing you Netflix account on Media Center is a third party application that can be found in your favorite search engine by typing "Netflix plug-in for Media Center" in the search criteria.

 

Using Third Party Software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the use of Third Party Software can be solved. Using Third Party Software is at your own risk.

Answer 3：The problem was on a brand new Vista Home Premium PC. I'd been able to successfully listen to music (CDs and MP3s) and view photos stored on the network... but it turns out the problem was that Media Center still didn't think it had a network connection configured.

Going to Settings -> General -> Automatic Download Options and clicking "Download Now" to force a download brought up a whole new wizard to configure a network connection... and it also ended up downloading the Netflix tile.

My new problem is that I installed the Netflix application and now I have TWO tiles - one that's the application and one that still wants me to install. Any ideas about that?
