Question：
when i go into itunes my ipod is not showing under devices. I have sync'd & downloaded music before. So have ran all tests but is showing not connected. I contacted apple who told me my connection was faulty so bought a new one. This did not work when I connected my ipod went to itunes it is not showing under devices (nothing is) so I believe i need to add the device - how do i do this?
Basically the help sights don't explain how to get to set up device - any help???

What Version of iTunes do you have installed? For Windows Vista users, Apple recommends using iTunes version 7.2 or later.
Have you ever used Windows Explorer to eject the device?

If so, there's a possibilty you may need to install this update from Microsoft - see the link below:

have downloaded itunes 8 am using vista - but when I log onto itunes no device displaying Have ran diagnostics but dont know how to reset to show device ie ipod in itunes
