Question:I was updating my computer from the Microsoft website. I already have the Windows XP, Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003 and the Small Business Edition 2003 as well. Then I got this message about the Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003 have an installation file error because it could not find this file:
installation file 01561415.CAB could not be found.
It keeps trying to install it even after I click cancel and after I restarted the computer, it won't let me know open any programs like Excel, etc.
Please someone tell me if I should repair it in my add/remove programs window or what I should do!

Answer 2:Thanks Mick,
I did a system restore and things seem to be better now, but how do I make sure to stop and reverse the 2007 Vista editions that seem to still be on my computer? For example, I can't access Microsoft Publisher anymore at all and in my programs list it shows it as Publisher 2007. How can I get my old Publisher back? That seems to be the only program that is like that and the rest are the same.
Any advise is much appreciated. thanks.
Answer 3:This is a Vista forum, not an Office Newsgroup.
They are the Office experts at the links I gave you
You can do a Manual uninstall of the office 2007 Programs.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/928218
"How to manually uninstall the 2007 Office system if you cannot uninstall it by using the "Add or Remove Programs" feature"
You may then have to Uninstall/reinstall your earlier Office version, if you have problems.
Cheers.
