How do I save a recording in U-Law format?

Question:I do voice recordings for various companies.  They require that the recordings be done in a U-Law format for their phone systems.  In Windows XP, I was able to open a new file, save it as a U-Law file, then record and save the recording.  In Vista, however, I do not see any options for recording or saving in that format.  Can anyone provide info?

Thanks very much.
