Question:When I from my Laptop to my LCD TV, If I mirror the screen or extend, the TV just goes blank (Doesn't say "no signal" anymore) If I use external monitor as a main monitor, I can see the bottom left hand side of my screen in the top right hand corner of the TV.
I have tried using the TV zoom and different screen sizes. Doesn't help.
Thanks for helping.

Hi xmonkz,
Thank you for visiting Microsoft Windows Vista answers forum.
Please let us know how you have connected LCD TV and Laptop.
You may follow the steps in the following article link to setup multiple monitors:
Set up multiple monitors:
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/90b6964d-2673-40e5-9fdf-6edad3916af31033.mspx
In addition you may try the steps as below after connecting the TV and Laptop with HDM1 cable:
1. Click Start and click Control Panel and then click on Personalization.
2. Click on Display Settings.
3. Under Display Settings click the Settings Tab.
4. Then Select the 2nd monitor display from the drop down under Display.
5. Put a checkmark against "Extend my Windows Desktop onto this monitor".
6. Click on Apply and then click the Advanced Button.
7. Click the Graphics card tab that is installed on the computer, for example, Intel Graphics media Accelerator, and then click the Graphics properties button under Advanced.
8. Next, under the Display devices select Television as Single Display and under Multiple Display Select primary device as television and secondary device as notebook or laptop.
9. Click on Ok on all the windows to close the Display properties.
Please let us know if it helps.
Thanks and Regards,
Santosh
