Please Help...My Windows media player 11 doesn't work!

Question：Hello everyone,

my WMP stopped working couple days ago. Can't do system restore. I did a "System File Checker"(in safe mode) indicated previous in one of the posts...got the following message:

"Windows resource protection found corrupt files; but was able unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\Cbs.log C:Windows\Log\CBS\CBS.Log."

Any feedback what to do next to get WMP working again?

Thank you for using Microsoft Windows Vista Forums. 

You need to run "Fix it now" from the following link to resolve your issue.

If that does not work we'll probably need to do Repair/Inplace upgrade.

Do you have a Vista installation disc?
