Question:
I want to know if I can stepdown my new PC that is Vista Home Premium 64bit to 32bit?
Also, what issues might this cause?
Answer 1:To go from 64bit to 32bit Operating System has to done by doing a clean install with a full 32bit Vista version of your particular Operating System.
Save all Data, as it will be lost during install, as will all 3rd Party Programs.
The Hard Drive will be formatted and wiped clean of the 64bit install, and all its information, Programs, etc..

Answer 2: I am currently using a HP notebook with Vista home Premium 64 bit preinstalled, I'd like to downgrade to the 32bit verison. Is that possible? I've tried contacting HP support about it, and have received a number of different answers.
Answer 3:
It is not a Downgrade.
64bit to 32bit has to be done by a clean install, with a Full Vista 32bit Home Premium Operating System.
