Question:This is seemingly an installation issue, I think. I brought 2007 Home and Student Office about one month ago. I'm just now installing in time for school. No install wizard kicked in, just autoplay. After selecting installation, I got amessage that OneNote.en-us ****.msi and that I must choose a valid installation source. After repeated attempts of the same thing, I decided to select customize and delete OneNote program from my installationl. This only created a new message with the same thing. "setup cannot find Office.en-us\officeLR.cab. Is there no end. Then I tried activation of my product key, which the official site denied saying that my store bought version product key was not valid. Then we I searched the online help topics my problem is not listed and the telephone and internet help lines need a credit card and charge $49. That is a rip off. I welcome all good suggestions. My computer running vista.

Answer 2:
Ah ha. Routing me to the discussion groups seemed daunting at first. No one had the same problem but some were nearly similiar. One solution was to turn off Norton, which I did and tada, my installation problems disappeared. Now why couldn't have someone said that. So I'm saying that. Thank you.
