Some free standing DVD Players will not play a home made DVD...
but maybe you burned a Data DVD instead of a Video DVD.
Maybe the following articles will help...

Answer 2:Aloha!
OK, thanks for the reply! I did find an open source program that has worked for a couple of my productions made by Movie maker http://www.dvdflick.net/ It takes about an hour to convert and burn a 30 minute movie to a dvd-r disc, but at least it plays on my player. I will read those links you kindly provided. I am always open to any and all help when it comes to Windoz!
Thanks again.
