[Answer]duplicate pictures

Question:I have previously downloaded photos to my computer from my sd card. The computer is supposed to recognize which ones are new and not duplicate them. I go to download the new pictures today and it wants to download ALL the photos on my sd card...which are on the computer already. What do I do?

Windows Live Photo Gallery may work better for you.

But the best bet may be to delete the files from the
SD card after they are downloaded and verified to
be saved on the hard drive. Making a backup copy
on an external hard drive, additional SD Card, Flash
Drive or possibly a CD or DVD is not a bad idea either.
It really feels lonely after you realize you have lost
your photo collection.

Also...might be a good idea to set your camera up
so the names of the files are consecutive. If each
photo session begins at #0001 you will have problems
with files being overwritten.
