Question：I currently have Vista Ultimate(Upgrade). I have had it for quite some time. Now I want to reinstall again due to file issues. The problem I have is the upgrade option is disabled. the only option I have is the Custom install. I do not need the custom install due to removing applications I have added to my system. Is their anyway to activate the upgrade option. Can anyone help?
Answer 1：The Upgrade version of Vista is designed to work only when you are at the desktop of the Windows version you will be upgrading from.
