Question:I have recently passed all my data from C: drive into D:drive to liberate space on the former. After deleting the duplicated stuff from C I was left with plenty (about 90Gbs) of free space. I also deleted the recycling bin.
Today, to my surprise, the notification of full C:drive appears again, but I cannot find anything on it that is worth those 90Gbs. I have re-directed the desktop icons to the new D: location and checked all program files, temporary files, windows files etc. There is nothing there occupyig that space. And the recycling bin is apparently empty.
So anybody knows what on earth has happened to my free space?
Thanks!
Answer 1:
Hello MGOrtega,
Thank you for posting. It sounds like you have a worm virus. Here is a link to a sticky post in our Security and Privacy Forum:
Read and follow the instructions of the Microsoft MVP's and run all 2 scans. Let us know what the scans show.
Thanks,
Jack

Answer 2:I have tried running the scans but am unable to due to my c: drive being full. Any other suggestions?
Thanks
