Windows Vista & Hotmail

Question:When I click on a link to contact the people at the paticular website I get a window that says windows vista no longer supports http based e-mail. So microsoft has a way around this by having you download windows live onto your computer. I did this and I still get the pop-up window that says windows vista no longer supports http based e-mail

Answer 1:Hi 1needtoknow,

Thank you for using Vista Support forum,

To use your Hotmail/Live email account with any Microsoft email clients (Outlook, Windows Live Mail), you'll need to install the Office Live Connector.

Visit this link to download/install the connector:

Looking forward to hear from you soon,
Kevin

Answer 2:Does this include Windows Mail in Vista? I read on a Live site Mail was supposed to work with Live accounts. I have a Hotmail account that I have never been able to synch up. Or is there a way to change Hotmail to some other Live account? I thought I read something about that.
Thanks.

Eric
