[Answer]e-mail setup

Question：On new machine with vista cannot set up e-mail server for outgoing mail, message said to download windows live platform, but still can;t seem to get it to work

Answer 1：Are you setting up your computer to run as an email server or do you just want to be able to access an email account?    What program do you want to use to check your email?  Who is the email from (Gmail, live, yahoo, comcast, cox,)?  A good place to start if you just want to set up your email account on Windows Mail, Live Mail, or Outlook is to do a search for soemthing along the lines of (Mail provider) on (Mail client).  So if you had Comcast and want to use outlook 2007 you could try searching "Comcast on Outlook 2007".
