Question：
I have a laptop with Vista basic as the OS. Can anyone tell me, am I able to install either 120 day evaluation version of XP Pro or XP Pro full version software (so I may use VirtualPC) on a seperate partition so I can study for exam 70-270 ?

Any OS install in a Virtual PC, you need a Licence to use.
Microsoft Virtual PC is only supported by Microsoft in Vista Business and Ultimate; but will work in Home Premium.
I've never tried it in Home Basic.
