Question：I received an attachment in the form of dat file. I saved it and tried to open it using wordpad, microsoft word, picture viewer and pdf. All no luck. Can you help please. Thanks.
Answer 1：Those types of files are usually not meant to be opened. Contact the sender and ask them what they sent you and have them resend it in a standard format.
