question for windows vista ultimate sp1

Question:hello thanks for your reply but your answer doesnt help me please i dont mean clean install windows vista i mean how must to do the size of partition (c) for vista if was my harddisk 320 GBs  i think to do the harddisk two partitions c=160GBs and d=160 GBs is this work right? what your opinion?

Answer 1:Hi s.nouaman,

Thank you for using Vista Support forum,

I would recommend making the first partition (C) small since it is contain the operating system.  It will be easier when you need to defrag or run scan on the system.  The second partition (D) would use to save your files and programs.

However, this is just a personal opinion.  You should use your best judgement to determine which is best for your system.

Let us know if you have any other questions,
Kevin

Answer 2:thank you kevin for your answer but now i need your opinion for the best size for my partitons if my harddisk 320GBs and i have notice you said me that the partition (c) must be small but in start menu we notice there are (my document-my music my picture ) thats mean partition(c) must to be the largest section in the harddisk for save the files what your opinion ?
