Question:I have ordered the Windows 7 upgrade. Prior to installing the upgrade I want to create a system restore point. If I have a problem with Windows 7 can I use the restore point to get back to Vista?
Answer 1:No. Upgrading to Windows 7 is the same as replacing the entire Windows Vista operating system with the new Windows 7 operating system. If you should decide to go back to Windows Vista, you'll have to reformat the hard drive and perform a "clean install' of Windows Vista.
