Can't burn a music cd

Question:I'm trying to burn a cd from songs I have in my Windows Media Player library.  I have inserted a Memorex CD-R and the auto-play comes up showing it is a blank disc.  In Windows Media Player it shows CD drive (D:) Audio CD 79:57 remaining. I've dragged my songs into the burn list, but the "Start Burn" button won't let me select it. When I go under "my computer" it shows it as a DVD RW Drive (D:) with 702 MB of 702 MB free.  Do I need to use a different type of disc because it's a DVD RW drive or is there another reason it won't let me burn to the disc?

When the AutoPlay screen pops up...close it.

Everything you reported sounds correct...and no...
I don't think you need a different type of CD.

Maybe some or all of your files are protected. Look
