Question：I have tried the system repair..no luck it just runs for hours and a manual power down has to be done. Also i have tried booting up in safe mode..then from there tried to restore to a earlier point..no luck.. I have a dell inspiron 1525 vista basic..

I did as you said..followed the link and followed the instruction for offline uninstall..but after you click next for the lang..time etc..my system started a startup repair..then as if i wanted to restore to a previous time..i clicked restore..and then nothing happens it run and runs..also the only light on the laptop is the power..so got any other ideas?

Answer 3：Problem fixed! I have wasted 2 days looking online and emailing microsoft..and im done..i did a factory image restore and so far everything looks to be working..and i will have deal with what i lost..but thanks for trying.. :-)
