Trouble installing Office Pro 2003 on Vista

Question:Due to the Office 2007 trial expiring on me ( insert sad face because it's such a tease when you spend so much on a laptop), I have to load my Office Pro 2003 CD. I used the auto setup, and it seemed to start to install. Then I get a message saying Waiting for cabinets to be cached to local installation source, then references CP561401.CAB. Through the uninstall wizard I deleted the Office Home and Student 2007 version. Why won't it install? I need help. Any step by step how to fix it would be good.  Oh and yes, I did turn off any anti-virus program I have.  Thanks in advance!
