Question:I suffered a power failure when reinstalling XP Home from CD (so "set-up is restarting" appears when bootin and am now interrupted by Privacy Centre malware screens (which were part of the reason for my re-install). PC keeps asking to restart Set-up and insert the CD but I get to the Privacy Centre screen and hang. Cannot get into Safe Mode as Set-up can't run in safe mode and the PC starts to re-boot - and then back round we go. Am I doomed? Can I get past Setting up and get into Safe mode or is it too late?

Once installed, reload ALL your other Programs from original Media, or download again.
Reload all Drivers and Utilities for your Motherboard.
