Question:I am making a slide movie presentation with audio. I want to use several music tracks and join them to make about 30 minutes audio file for this presentation. I tried with sound recorder program but it did not help. How can I accomplish this with Windows Vista premium (64 bit)?

You can join the audio files with Movie Maker if they will
import...best format for this would be .wma or .wav.
Drag the files to the timeline (Audio/Music Track) in the
order you want and publish (save) the project like it was
a movie...the resulting file will be a .wma audio file.

Answer 2:Sorry John if it is a repeat. I sent you my response a minute ago but seems that I may have lost my reply to you. Any way, Thanks John for help. I got success to join the songs with your suggestion. It saved me lot of time. I like to know if this file format .wma or .wav can be converted to .MP3 format using Windows Vista? Or do you recommend any softwre to convert the format to .MP3? Thanks again.

The only way Vista can convert .wma to .mp3 would be to
burn a Music CD and then RIP it with .mp3 as the target format.
The following freeware would be a good way to convert the files:
Free Mp3 Wma Converter
http://www.koyotesoft.com/indexEn.html
(Mp3, Wma, Ogg, Aac, M4a, Ac3, Ape, Flac, Wav)
(FWIW if you install the converter you may want to
uncheck the offers of Yahoo and Dealio) (also...you
may want to uncheck the CD Ripper and the Easy
MP3 Cutter)
