Question：The last few days I cannot publish my movie to my computer or a cd. I have vista and recently i established the pinnacle movie maker. Since then i have the problem. I erased the program but the problem remains. I made system restore , but nothing. I have vista home premium and windows movie maker vista. The file format of my source files is .MPG , .AVI , .VOB , .jpg. I had no problem with all these file formats, before. And when i made system restore, the very first time spot was just after establishing the pinnacle. Can anyone help me? (sorry for my english). Thank you.

Are you saying there is not a System Restore point
available at a time before you installed Pinnacle?
What happens when you try to Publish?
As a test...have you tried creating a very small project
with just a couple of photos to see if you could Publihsh it?

And i tried many times to publish a very small project but appears the same message.
When I publish a project, a message appears saying that ''WMM cannot publish this project to the specific position. Make sure that the files source is still available, that there is enough hard disk to save the project and then try again.'' As I told you i tried to create a small project with two or three photos but i couldn't publish it. And I'm very sure that i have enough hard disk to save the project.

I'm not sure that the following steps will help but may be worth a try:
Open Movie Maker and go to...Tools / Options / Compatibility tab...uncheck all the filters / OK.
Try to Publish.
